Search DER Facilities in New York State

This tool allows you to filter through the complete database of performance data available for New York State DER projects, which have either received NYSERDA incentives or are energy storage projects that voluntarily shared characteristic data with NYSERDA. Use this tool to access individual project performance data, find individual projects by type or in a geographic area or utility zone, or determine the number of DER projects within a given set of search criteria.

Click the “eye” icon to the left of each project name in the filtered results to view detailed, individual facility-level or project-level performance data over time. Individual facility and project data are available for download as a .csv file. Performance data is updated daily.

About this data

The data available on this site includes:

  • Energy Storage: All operational energy storage projects in New York State. It includes projects funded by NYSERDA, publicly available information from interconnection queues, as well as information voluntarily shared with NYSERDA. Production reporting is required for up to three years to confirm systems are operating as designed. After that, data may not be included on this site even when a project continues to generate electricity as designed.
  • Solar: Completed and operational projects funded by NY-Sun’s Commercial & Industrial incentive program. This data set does not include all solar projects in New York. Production reporting is required for up to three years to confirm systems are operating as designed. After that, data may not be included on this site even when a project continues to generate electricity as designed.
  • Combined Heat and Power, Anaerobic Digester, and Fuel Cell: Completed and operational projects funded under now-closed NYSERDA incentive programs. This data set does not include all CHP, anaerobic digesters, and fuel cell projects in New York.
